Rowing 100,000 meters:
a BIG goal to help a local charity

Between Nov. 24th and December 24th, Jim worked hard and completed his 100,000 meter indoor rowing goal as part of the Concept 2 Holiday Challenge. Instead of just doing this for personal benefit, however, Jim accepted pledges and donations, raising funds just shy of $700 to help out the local charity Island Relief, Inc., which provides educational support to island communities like the Bahamas.

Thanks to all those who helped out with this charity drive!

Streamline's 5K Club Celebrates its First Race!

In September of 2005, celebrating the Lake in the Hills' Sunset Festival, the Streamline 5K Club ran its first race. 19 people participated, making up 10% of the total participants of the race. For sixteen of those individuals, this was their first 5K! Pictures of the event can be seen in the Photo Gallery.
