Are You Tired of not Getting the Fitness Results that You Expect?

Dear Friend,

For millions of Americans, January is the big month when it comes to fitness. Health clubs are jam-packed and millions upon millions of dollars are spent on the latest fat-melting, butt-blasting, ab-chiseling pills, lotions, potions, gadgets and gizmos. Yet the sad truth is that virtually all of those people that make resolutions will fall off the wagon and fail in their attempts.

Have you ever been in a situation like this? You get all the resolve in the world and start implementing this dedication over the course of days hoping that what you’re doing will give you the body you’re looking for only to find out that it’s all frustrating and a pain. You give up because it’s boring to keep going – who wants to suffer when there are so many things in life to enjoy, right? It’s not like you didn’t exercise or watch your diet, but it seems like results just don’t happen (or happen fast enough), and if they do, they don’t seem to stick. What is up with that?

So why do so many people pursue fitness and still fail? Is it because these people didn’t do enough exercising? Is it because these hard-working people just like you and I didn’t find that one little secret that would have made it all worth it? Is it because these people were missing some product that held the answer to their fitness dreams? I don’t think so. I feel that most people end up failing in their resolution to be healthier not because they themselves failed, but because the information they were presented with was faulty. In reality, they were failed by piles of misinformation and deceptive marketing measures that the diet and fitness industry uses to entice people to spend their hard-earned money.

Do you believe me? Take a sampling in the homes of America and see how many of these you find: dusty abdominal devices, old exercise videos, half-used bottles of fat melting supplements, health products with the “As Seen On TV” logo on them. In most homes, there’s at least one piece of exercise equipment that now serves as some kind of clothing rack. Still not convinced? Check out the magazine racks and watch the television infomercials where ‘fitness personalities’ pitch people on why some piece of equipment allows you to ‘lounge’ away your fat and get the body you’ve always dreamed of.

So why do people purchase these products instead of looking the real solutions to their fitness concerns? I believe that the misinformation campaign of the diet and fitness industry takes over right here. You and I want to make the right choices – we want to be fit and healthy, it’s just virtually impossible to cut through all the garbage out there and figure out what will really work, isn’t it? So what do we do? Each January, we go to the health club or purchase another piece of exercise equipment for home and give it one more go. We try a different diet because we heard of someone got some results, hoping that it will work for us as well.

Well, this year can be different. This year, it’s possible to break out of the resolution cycle and put yourself into a position where you won’t even need fitness resolutions in the future. How can this happen? I’ll get to that right after a quick story.

I’d like to tell you about a client of mine named Joe. Joe came to me a couple years ago after starting his resolutions, just like each year. Each year before that, everything lasted about a month and then the next year, Joe was heavier and less healthy than he was the year before. But this time would be different – Joe found the truth, the real secrets to getting the body he was working toward.

Joe had been spending time doing cardio at the health club and “eating better” (his words) when he and I met. After a couple of sessions talking about the core concepts of why his past efforts didn’t work, Joe had a plan. Moving forward, Joe stuck with his plan and I gave him little adjustments over time to help keep him current with his goals. As the months went by, Joe started to transform himself into a completely different person. Sure, Joe worked at making himself a better person physically, but it wasn’t a boring journey anymore, and most importantly, he stuck with it. After nine months had passed, Joe looked amazing – (I still remember when he proudly stated that his chest stuck out more than his belly.) By the time a year hit, Joe was in the best shape of his life and weighed the same that he did when he was in high school!

So what was different – why was Joe able to make himself resolution free and give himself a completely new body? Why did it work this time when all the other times it hadn’t? The simple truth is Joe had real positive information to work with instead of being misled by the misinformation that’s advertised all over the place. Joe had best science information about how to exercise correctly, how and when to eat right, how to spend his cardio time most efficiently… and this made all the difference.

I talk with people each week that have the same wants that Joe did, even the same desire to make positive and lasting changes in their lives. But they’re missing one important thing – the powerful information that unlocks the door to successful change. You see, everyone has the capacity for change – we’ve all seen or know of someone who has totally transformed themselves by exercising and eating right. Well, why not take hold of that for yourself?

Remember when I said I’d show you how to break out of the resolution cycle, how to get the body that you want without spinning your wheels in the gym or getting bored and failing again? Well, now it’s time for the details…

As a personal trainer, people come to me and spend good money to learn the tools that will help them transform themselves. They fully understand that it’s not the trainer that makes the client improve, it’s the client that works hard to improve under the guidance of the trainer. But not everyone chooses to afford personal training. Heck, some people love to do everything on their own and don’t want to deal with a trainer. And that’s why Streamline Personal Training has designed a very special program for 2006 called High Gear for the New Year.

The High Gear for the New Year program is a four-week course that will cover all of that critical information that people need to know in order to make their changes last – it’s the same secrets that Joe learned from me that helped him to be resolution free. For four weeks, one hour each week, instead of exercising and getting told what to do, you can sit down and absorb best science information that will explain in easy-to-understand terms the secrets to successful body transformation.

Why would I give away these secrets when I could just charge people for regular personal training sessions? For a couple of reasons. First, the mission of Streamline Personal Training isn’t to have as many personal training sessions as possible – the mission is to elevate the fitness level of the world by helping people to find their strength. Second, how many people can I help if I only use one-on-one personal training sessions to deliver the information that I know? Not many – there just aren’t enough hours in the day. But I can sure as heck help a great deal more people if I modify the structure of personal training and break a couple of rules along the way.

Break rules? You bet – the bulk of the diet and fitness industry relies on misinformation to keep money coming in. Well, I’m going to give you the knowledge and tools to cut right through that subterfuge and figure out what you really need to succeed. You can bet that I won’t be touting any pills or specific products as “the answer” to your fitness quest. Nope – no diet books will be sold at the Streamline facility during the High Gear for the New Year program – just the passage of loads of great information.

Which brings me back to the program itself – four weeks, one hour each week on Wednesday nights between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM in Crystal Lake at the Streamline Personal Training studio starting on March 1st and finishing on March 22nd. No interruptions, no fluff, just real information for real people. It’s like having a personal training session for four weeks in a row!

Of course, that brings us to cost – where’s the catch, right? You haven’t mentioned cost yet, Jim. Easy – I’m getting there, and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed… at all. If a client came into me and asked for all of this information over the course of four personal training sessions, the cost would be $300! Why would someone do this instead of attending a lecture somewhere? Well, for one, the client could ask the trainer any questions and make sure they understood the information. In a typical speaking situation, this isn’t possible.

Well at the High Gear for the New Year program, it’s absolutely possible. The sessions are specifically designed to cover the necessary information and then allow for a question and answer session at the end. And, since I’m dedicated to keeping the quality of the experience as high as possible, I’ve decided (against my accountant’s advice) to limit the number of seats to make sure that the environment is one of complete and intensive learning with plenty of room for questions and experiencing what we’re going to be discussing.

The High Gear for the New Year program will spend the first three sessions covering the important “Triangle of Health,” which holds the keys to lasting and positive physical change. Here’s what the High Gear for the New Year program will cover…

And the last session is going to be a brief summary of the information we’ve covered up to the point and will then be interactive, showing you how to create a specific program for yourself to incorporate the foundations you will have learned and to let yourself get the same kind of lasting results that my client and friend Joe got.

All of this, the four weeks of instruction with the interactive program design and the question and answer sections would cost more than $300 if purchased as individual personal training. But instead of having to spend that much money, you can get this information for only $59.95 per person! And that’s the total price for all four weeks! But that’s not all (as the saying goes)…

I’m so confident in the information that is going to be presented that I’m putting a money-back guarantee on the High Gear for the New Year program. If you finish the program and don’t feel that you’ve learned anything valuable, anything that will help you to get to the level of fitness that you desire, I’ll gladly refund all of your money – no hassles, no problems. I’m that confident that what you’re going to hear over the course of these four weeks of the High Gear for the New Year program is so life-changing that I’m willing to put my money where my mouth is.
